(nbW Talk Intro theme music ‘Stiff UpperLip’ by AC/DC plays)
Trent McKnight: Good evening Internet Acolytes, I am your ever loving host Trent McKnight and this is nbW Talk. Tonight’s guest needs no introduction as he is the face of nbW – let’s give a hand for the boss himself, Xander Napoli!
{ cue applause }
Xander Napoli: Trent, I told you earlier, skip the nonsense. This is only an internet webcast feed; I don’t have time to dawdle.
Trent McKnight: Alright then. Let’s get straight to it folks. Mr. Napoli is here in rebuttal to the recent statements made by former World Champions Jason Kain and Uncensored.
Xander Napoli: Not rebuttal. I am just here to clear the air and make sense of what those two morons said.
Trent McKnight: Right. So let’s start heavy. Recently on the Murphy Law Jason Kain stated that you were a pussy just waiting for the right moment to take over nbW. Is this true?
Xander Napoli: A pussy huh? I am not the one that fired him, that was Donovan; and only after Styles had been as well. He WALKED OUT on me, on the company, and on his friends in the back. I could care less if all he did was trash and burn the nbW World Title – it was trash. The names that built it? Trash. The names that worked their asses of for it and never claimed it? Trash.
Trent McKnight: Xander, I’m going to have to stop you there for a moment. You do realize quite a few of those names are still employed with nbW and far from ‘trash’ as you put it.
Xander Napoli: I would suggest that if you wish to keep your job, you do not interrupt me again. Uncensored, Jason Kain, Jack Owyns? Trash and worthless to boot. Their names may hold up banners worldwide, but when put side by side with true champions such as Andrew Martin, William Arthur Reagan, and as much as I hate to admit it RaVage – They are nothing more than ‘what was’ faced with ‘what is better’. You may continue now Trent.
Trent McKnight: Right, I apologize for the interruption earlier. Kain claims that you had a stranglehold over his likelihood preventing him from making a living doing what he loved to do. Does this hold any water?
Xander Napoli: This is a business where we have ruthless competition, so ensuring that our top stars are branded to us is absolute necessary. However in Jason Kain’s position, this was more of a punishment for what he had done and the trouble his tantrum caused me. You have any idea how much a new World title costs? A lot!
Trent McKnight: Then why… let me rephrase that. If you loathe Kain so much, then why are you allowing him to compete at Legacy?
Xander Napoli: If your brother whom beat you down like a red headed step child suddenly showed up one day asking you for money because he fucked up and got the head cheerleader pregnant, would you help him out or laugh and tell him to fix his own troubles? No Trent do not answer that. Let me put it like this. The writers presented RaVage with a selection of choices for his defense at Legacy, some names of which the fans would have enjoyed to see. However he wanted something out of our current crop of superstars and to prove he is a worthy champion.
Therefore you got the open challenge to the nbW Alumni. This in itself has caused us problems. Because what was supposed to be one acceptance turned out to not be so simple. As it is known on Full Effect’s 43 rd edition Uncensored accepted the open challenge, as was the plan all along. However we did not expect what happened during the nbW Talk at the Shivaree.
Trent McKnight: Yeah that threw us for a loop.
Xander Napoli: Out of all the alumni that could have contacted us, the least expected phoned in knowing full well we were live. Because if it was a taped segment, we would have edited that out and nobody would be the wiser. Kain was. Leaving us with a triple threat predicament for Legacy.
Trent McKnight: Yes, but later that same night you announced that there would be Three accepting the challenge and it would be a Fatal Four way at Legacy.
Xander Napoli: I may not have expected Kain as I did Uncensored, but that doesn’t mean I am afraid of losing what is mine to begin with. I ALWAYS have a ace or two up my sleeves. And at Legacy that Ace in the hole will ensure Kain does not win.
Trent McKnight: Even if so, Jason Kain has stated that he does not follow to the kayfabe or planned scripts. Doesn’t that worry you?
Xander Napoli: I am not Styles. Kain may have been able to get away with that childish nonsense under his command, but not under mine. If he even dares to think of stepping out of line you can rest assured that the three men in that match won’t be his only concern.
Trent McKnight: Okay well let us switch gears now. As you are well aware Uncensored gave a rebuttal to Jason Kain on Murphy’s Law and…
Xander Napoli: Uncensored is a talented athlete. However every time we see fit to book him in a World Championship match to test the waters on if he would make a good champion – he fails miserably. The last instance being at 25 to Life. I understand Uncensored believes I am to blame for RaVage being the current champion, but he forgets that it was Spike Saunders’s first act of power at New Dawning to declare a new champion and put RaVage and macWICKED along with himself and William Arthur Reagan in a LadderVault match. That was not my doing.
Torment would have been out there and even today be walking around with that championship around his waist. It’s just a shame that Saunders isn’t in power anymore, you know? No more support for the little guys in the back. It’s time to feed them to the dogs.
Trent McKnight: And that is why at Legacy you are putting the newly reformed team of Pure Style against The Executioner and his two Men in Black?
Xander Napoli: Max Hopper is about to learn what pain truly is. No more of this nonsense detective of the estranged bullshit. The Executioner is a phenomenal athlete. Did you know O’Dell was a six time former NWWA Champion? Or how about a former WWR World Champion and Extreme Champion? Did you? Likely not. Either does Hopper. Not that it makes a difference. Once Legacy is over I won’t have to deal with that big mouthed idiot.
Trent McKnight: Well since we are talking about Legacy, let’s get your thoughts on the rest of the lineup and the winners instore.
Xander Napoli: Fine.
Trent McKnight: Yevgeni vs Sam Potright?
Xander Napoli: A giant Russian idiot and a regular sized idiot. I really don’t care which one wins. WAR and the Horsemen will likely be at ringside so I would say Yevgeni.
Trent McKnight: Tepekamau vs Wosret in the Rooftop Street Fight.
Xander Napoli: I told Torment just to bury the hatchet, but he insisted on this course of action. I expect we will be scraping what’s left of Wosret off the concrete before the nights end.
Trent McKnight: Austin Advent vs Spike Saunders.
Xander Napoli: I hate Saunders. And I hate Advent for what he has done to our North Atlantic title belt after the trust we put into his venture with FATE – not to mention he is dating my daughter. However that aside I know Advent does not have what it takes to topple a giant, so as much regret as it pains me to state it – Saunders to be the Victor.
Trent McKnight: Shawn Jessica Hart and Capital Punishment vs Team Viagra.
Xander Napoli: Hart came to me after his elimination at the Shivaree requesting his revenge. We gave it some discussion and this is the end result. I do have faith that Hart and Punishment will end Viagra.
Trent McKnight: D-T vs The Bodyguards vs Myth and Legend for the Dynasty Tag Championships?
Xander Napoli: D-T have shown phenomenal in ring abilities as of late and proven worthy of being champions. However the card is stacked against them this night and either team could easily win. I believe we will have new champions before the nights over. Not that it matters once Torment is reunited again and takes back what was rightfully theirs.
Trent McKnight: Don’t see it happening. And for the Main Event, the Fatal Four way of Ravage vs Jason Kain vs Uncensored vs a Fourth for the World Championship.
Xander Napoli: RaVage is the champion. This is the match he has been waiting for to prove his wins were not flukes. So I am putting my money on RaVage.
Trent McKnight: Betting on RaVage?
Xander Napoli: We’ll be in Las Vegas, remember?
Trent McKnight: Oh yeah. Well I think that covers this webcast, unless you have something else to add?
Xander Napoli: Nothing.
Trent McKnight: Then that’s a wrap fans. Be sure to catch Legacy Live on Pay Per View March 15 th and I will see you again soon.
