• Full Effect 56
August 18th, 2009

Having successfully gotten the new web cast version of no brand Wrestling off the ground, Thaddeus Boyle looks to take it up another notch tonight. One Full Effect's fifty-fifth edition many new faces were introduced, and even an old face in the name of Uncensored resurfaced.

Tonight, Boyle has upped the ante with a star-studded main event featuring TEN of no brand's Superstars. The World Champion will also see some action tonight, as well as Gyle Boyle's NewBorn as they compete in their scheduled matches.

All this and more on tonight's Fifty-Sixth edition of Full Effect, only on the nbW Web-Stream.

July 7th, 2009

No brand Wrestling starts a new path, one in which television and network deals are no longer a need or concern. Along with it the scourge of nbW, Xander Napoli, has been ousted from the business and a wealthy, suave, smart promoter by the name of Thaddeus Boyle has taken over the reigns.

Tonight many new faces will be introduced to the public, while at the same time old faces, and even returning superstars will make the first web stream a great success.

The only question that remains is rather or not no brand can get completely out of the dump that Napoli led them into. Tonight is the start of a new Beginning.

May 25th, 2009

It may have been months since nbW was last seen on air, however during that time the company has been pushing out houseshows on a weekly basis. On the backend however it is no secret that nbW has suffered tremendously due to today's economy. Unfortunately in order to better finance the federation, 3WA has called in a well known promoter to assist owner Xander Napoli in getting back off the ground. With tonight being his debuting act, how will the new face fare? One has to wonder.

It has also been announced that Mat Walton will take on the monster Torment, while Ravage goes face to face with Haywire. Even the Tag team champions D-T are defending against SuperSquad. Also scheduled for tonight's show are: Son of Malta, Zatch Rollins, Myth and Legend, Spike Saunders, and many more. As always, the card is subject to change.

Today is Memorial Day, and while families are spending time together in remembrance, nbW is set to bring you their reigniting, live and only on HBO tonight.

• New GM Revealed!
April 1st, 2009

As made evident at the House Show today, no brand Wrestling is proud to annouce the new General Manager. This man has exemplified everything we have sought out in making this decision. Most of you might remember him from a few years back, and for those of you that don't, his name is Alex Styles

Although the decision has been tough to make, we do believe he is the right person for the job and will st ick by our decision.

Thank you.

• House Show results!
April 1st, 2009

Evening fans, and welcome back. The name is Trent McKnight and I have received Fan reports from our latest House show. For those unaware and living in a hole throughout life, today is April 1st. This day has a lot of history associated to it and being men of humour, the nbW Superstars switched up from their normal routines and gave the fans a spectacle of grandour.

The following reports are from fans that attendended the showcase event, and their thoughts of the action.

Before I continue I do want to make it clear that Xander Napoli was not in the arena for this event. If he was, surely it wouldn't have gone off like I did.

Man with no humor, right?

==

Hi Trent,

I just wanted to send in my thoughts on the house show you guys put together. It was a nice twist in everything going on lately. change of pace is good, no?

The night started off with The Creede Brothers in the ring holding the Dynasty Tag Championships. That caused a clear case of confusion right there. I mean, it has been over a month or so since we last saw the nbW in person, but I remember no reports of the titles changing hands. They got on the microphone and told us that it's been over two years since they won the titles and wouldn't be droppign them anytime soon. There are no worthy challengers.

Yeah so amongst the wtf's from all of us, the music of Zatch and Nemo played as they sprinted out to the ring. The two stood at the ring apron and bowed to the fans before stepping in the ring. The match was quick and exciting as both teams knew how to draw the crowd either against or for them. The finish appeared to have been botched when Nemo caught Spade Creede in the Tree of Woe and Zatch did a running bulldog with Ace into Spade's forehead, allowing the two to make the pin. Overall it was an okay match, and I would give it a 3/5 stars.

Once the tag teams cleared the ring The Son of Malta's music played and he stood at the entrance way. He spoke in Maltese for a short while before being interrupted by the sounds of trumpet fanfare. The next thing we know John Orson Bautista steps out to a round of cheers, for those that remembered him. To be honest, I only remember JOB being manhandled by Torment ages ago. Same thing practically happened with Malta. Finish was a brutal running powerslam from Malta. Not bad, but I can only give it a 2/5 stars.

Next up was a familiar face to nbW, Matt Haddon. Poor guy has never gotten his break. And all he ended up seeing this time around was a few moments of light before Torment clocked him in the face and chokeslamed him to the pits of hell. 2/5 stars.

As Torment was heading back to the backstage area he came chest to chest with the seven foot three giant. Spike Saunders looked him up and down and shook his head, then caught a punch intended for his own head. The two brawled for a few moments before the hood was ripped off and Torments mask fail off. It wasn't Torment, but rather The Executioner. With a height adjustment? Spike didn't think so either and pulled that mask off to reveal Spike himself. Two Spike's? The real Spike ripped at the fake one's face again, but was only making scratch marks. This was pretty entertaining attempt.

Spike then pulled the fake face off to reveal... well we don't know. The lights suddenly went out and when they came back Saunders was laid out on the ground with the mask of Torment next to him. I guess even the fun and games don't sit well with Torment.

Next up we witnessed Ravage team up with Gyle and Khan against D-T and High Flyer for the Main Event. Great match. D-T and the former World Champion were on the same footing throughout, while their opponents couldn't decide who should be the legal man. That isn't to say Showtime didn't try to upshow Flyer one time or another. The finish saw Showtime nail the Ovation on Gyle at the same time Ravage got the Yakuza kick from Flyer, while Proteus took Khan over the ropes. Great match and a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

The three stood tall in the ring and posed for the fans as everyone started to get up. Then another song played over the PA speakers. 'Laid to Rest' by Lamb of God, and then spotlights shone down on the entranceway. Shocked, doesn't even come close to our expressions. Standing there was Alex Styles, the man that created and molded nbW years ago. And he had a few parting words for us all.

"April Fools."

He then smiled as his music hit again, and left as quickly as he had entered. But one moment later he stepped back out from behind the curtain with a microphone in hand.

"Or is it?"

And then left. Everybody was riled up as we exited the arena. That was some show, even if so much made no sense at all. Thanks for the good work, can not wait till Full Effect returns.

• nbW to acquire new GM?
March 30th, 2009

The headline states it all folks.

The word behind the closed doors of the nbW office is that no brand Wrestling has sought out a new face to lead their company.

Too many names have left the business due to it's reputation and the way it has been run in the past few years. And this has not set well with the board and they have come to a unananimous decision to take action.

Unfortunately no comments were available from anybody on the Board at this time.

We do know that the decision is close to being finalized and we will have a announcement soon.

We will continue reporting on this story should more develop.

-Trent McKnight

• nbW Bankrupt???
March 15th, 2009

No less than two hours ago no brand Wrestling's personnel were all seen walking out of the office building with worried looks on their faces. Many had come to the meeting expecting good news, while others already sought death of the company. I was present as well tonight and I can safely say my job is safe. But what of nbW itself? For more on that I went to the head honcho himself.

"We're fine. Seriously. Tell those lousy reporters to back off and go hump GM motors. I still have confidence that we, as a company, will continue to soar." CEO Xander Napoli stated this upon my first questioning attempt and swapped us off to the side. It was clear he wasn't going to provide any details so as I spotted 3WA's Veronica Maison coming out of the building I approached her to hear what she had to say.

"Truth is, we were in a horrible rut. The economy today is horrible. I won't say that we're doomed to fail, but I just couldn't see any good coming from this anytime soon. Just like the rest of society, most of our investments and stocks are worthless or gone. Our savings mean little. I know some of our superstars like Sam Potright have been hit really hard by this and we've been doing what we can to assist them. Zatch Rollins had to sell his family's dojo in Japan in order to continue living in the States."

As reporter I can see where she is coming from here, however I would like to alert the readers and viewers that your favorite superstars will still have their employment with nbW due to the benefits packages that we do still have. "Thankfully I have spoke with The Company and we have come to an agreement for future financial backing of nbW. In fact starting today, March 15th 2009, we're financially sound. That is what most of tonight's meeting was all about."

You heard it here first fans. nbW is still going forward.

"Starting at Full Effect 54, we will have a new Promoter to help raise nbW from the crypt it had slowly formed. This man goes by many names, but to us he will be our Savior, if you will. I have heard many good things of his expertise and can not wait to see it put to fruition within nbW."

Amazing, everything considered, considering Napoli's dislike for sharing power. One has to wonder what is in store for no brand come our next show. Well, I like all of you reading will have to wait and see. Remember tickets are on sale now.

• Full Effect 53
DEcember 28th, 2008

Coming off of the Christmas Break, nbW has returned to action with another edition of Full Effect. Our Champion has some words for us fans. And remember folks, as much as it pains me to admit it, High Flyer isn't that champion any longer.

In addition we have a few tag team matches scheduled tonight when Myth and Legend face the duo ninja's of Zatch and Nemo, and Creede Brothers will face off against SuperSquad. Also tonight in the main event the newest talent acquired by nbW, Matt Bowen, will be facing off against the seven foot three veteran superstar Spike Saunders. Remember folks, anything can happen in no brand Wrestling; and Xander should be proof of that.

• House Show #17
December 1st, 2008

Evening folks, it is Trent McKnight again bringing you the latest update on the nbW Front. However, before I get to that tonight, I wanted to share with you our latest Fan submission recap of the House Show tonight. Now I know a lot of you had no idea it was happening, so attendance was thin, however those that did make it there, were in for some treats, along with disappointment. I’ll leave this to Mike Trape to explain.

=

Hello Trent, my name is Mike Trape. A few of my college buddies and I went to the arena to check out the action tonight. We heard nbW was in town for a house show and thought that it would be worth the ticket prices for some good entertainment. I won’t say we were disappointed in what we got, just that there was more to expect then the turn out.

That said, the night started off on a solemn note. The new world Champion made it quite clear. Xander Napoli walked out with his goons, the belt securely around his waist. He wasted no time in talking about how he defeated High Flyer after everyone else had failed. How he is the champion now. How things will change. Blah blah blah. He just kept on running his mouth, and we had hoped Flyer would show up but apparently he has been barred from the arena tonight.

That however didn’t stop another familiar theme, Spike-it-up, which announced the arrival of Spike Saunders, who made his way to the ring and stood at the ropes while Xander and goons all took to the second half of the ring. He talks about how Flyer might be banned from seeking retribution tonight, but that doesn’t apply to the seven foot three giant. Saunders tells Xander that Flyer’s channeling his energy through him tonight and he’s going to use it to demolish the Napoli Regime.

The first match is The Executioner and Torment vs Spike Saunders, and it is practically a beat down. They double team him from the start, and even use some weaponry from outside the ring thanks to Napoli. But steel chairs alone are not enough to keep the giant down. The two end up facing a double chokeslam and Executioner gets Spiked for the pin. Afterwards he looks down outside the ring to the champion and tells him that Flyer isn’t done tonight.

The next match is scheduled as a Tag Team Tables match between D-T and The Creede Bros. It is a pretty back and forth match until the tables are included. We end up seeing one table situated outside the ring by the ring post, and another against the ropes inside the ring. Ace Creede is the first through the table thanks to Showtime. Proteus is then almost put through as well, but manages to avoid it and Spade crashed through on his own. Showtime and Proteus then double suplex Spade out of the ring through the table on the floor. I have a feeling the Creedes are far from done with D-T however.

Backstage we find out that Saunders has started a brawl with Gyle in the locker room. Gyle gets laid out cold with a DDT into the concrete floor, and then has the lockers tipped over on top of him. The security swarms into the room and backs Saunders off while they try and pull the lockers off of Gyle.

Back in the ring is our third match. Lunatic is up against the ghost of Max Hopper’s Career. No, really. I don’t know either. But that was what the match was billed as. There was nobody in the ring with Lunatic, but he was apparently good at shadow boxing. He wound up beating the ‘ghost’ down, and then he himself was tossed out of the ring. Lunatic banged the floor and acted like he was hulking up before getting in the ring and running three consecutive lariats to the ‘ghost’.

He then played to the fans and dropped a elbow and hooked a leg for a pinfall. The referee did what he does and counted the pin, but Lunatics arms dropped and the referee shrugged and motioned a two count. Lunatic went for the cover again but somersaulted over and laid back with his legs drifting over his head, shoulders clearly on the mat and the referee smacked his hand on the mat three times to signal the Ghost of Max Hopper’s Career as the victor over Looney.

The Son of Malta is out in the ring to face Mat Walton. It was a match of the young upstart superstars, and they were indeed talented. Most of us weren’t sure who to cheer for though, as neither had any real following, but we did cheer when William Arthur Reagan showed up and stood at the entrance curtain watching the finish of the match. SoM took Walton down with a DDT like maneuver and then pinned him for the pin count. WAR was already gone by the time the bell run.

We see a glimpse backstage again and this time Saunders and Torment are fighting near the production truck. We’re informed that this is the Main Event and it would be a streetfight, as decided by Napoli.

Torment tosses Saunders spine first into the side of the truck, and then tackles him into it again. Napoli comes out and urges Torment to destroy Saunders. He has The Executioner help pull him onto the hood of the truck. They then continue to wail on Saunders with their fists while Napoli eagerly watches.

They can’t see it but we do by camera, as the back doors of the truck swing open and a lunatic emerges. He climbs up the side and onto the top of the semi, and then runs over to the front side, staring down at Torment and O’Dell. Flyer leaps off with a death defying senton splash, knocking Torment and O’Dell back off of Saunders.

Flyer then hit the Locomotive on Torment, and Executioner got a chokeslam into the hood of the truck for his troubles. The two then stalked Napoli who ran away as fast he could to his Limo. Once inside he ordered his driver to speed off, and could hear Saunders and Flyer chasing him up the exit path.

We were then informed that the show was over, and some good deals at the marketing booths. Overall we had fun, but we never got to see Napoli get his ass kicked. Maybe next time.

There wasn't a single night where the World Champion High Flyer was allowed to breathe freely, and tonight? What about tonight? Will Napoli once again pull out the stops on the Champion? Also scheduled in action tonight are: D-T, Spike Saunders, Ravage, Cage, and many more. Be sure to tune in and check out the action!

• House Show #16
October 16th, 2008

Yes folks, it is me again, your loyal chaperone, Trent McKnight. We got a handful of reports for last nights show, but ultimately only one could be chosen. That lucky person is Adam Hawkins. Therefore without further delay, Adam it is all yours.

-

Hi Trent. My buddies and I attended the show last night, and I can say we left quite impressed. I've never seen a nbW event before, be it live or on tv, so this was different.

The night started off with a three way contest between Zatch Rollins, Pat Gordon, and Mark Mercury. It wasn't a bad match, but it was short. I think it lasted four whole minutes, with three wrestlers. Not a big deal though. The finish saw Zatch hit a enziguri on Mercury for the pin.

Before the second match started we got that flashing red video with the 'I'. Intrigued to know where that is leading. As for the second match it was Lunatic against Kahn. I suppose Kahn was going to just squash Lunatic, but after being choke slammed to the mat, Kahn wasn't able to follow up with a pinfall because Lunatic took to the corner post and leapt off into the announcers. The referee deemed Lunatic unfit to finish the match.

The third match was Spike Saunders against The Executioner with Cage at ringside. Unfortunately this turned into a handicap match, which should have been expected. Saunders held his own, but after taking O'Dell out and then Cage, he met more opposition from Torment and Gyle as well. The finish saw Cage get Spiked and High Flyer make the save from a chair to the skull, with a Locomotive on O'Dell which led to the pinfall victory for Saunders.

The fourth match was for the Dynasty Tag Team Championships. D-T defended against the Creede Brothers. Now if it weren't for the arrogance of the brothers, I could have been rooting for them. These guys are talented. Where as D-T have know each other for a few years as a tag team, the Creede's are bonded by blood and knew each other's next move to cooperate in tandem with one another. The finish saw Ace Creede go for the Deck Shuffle on Proteus, but Showtime took advantage of the setup and hit the Standing Ovation on Spade for the pin and to retain the championships. Great match!

The main event was Andrew Martin against High Flyer. These two have met before in the ring and in previous federations, that much I know. Martin showed his superior ring expertise, but Flyer kept to his name. There was one spot where Martin had Flyer up hanging off the corner of the turnbuckle in a tree of woe and went for a shoulder tackle, but Flyer pulled him self up to his feet and then performed the oddest looking sunset flip I have ever seen.

After that maneuver we got the 'I' screen again and up at the entrance way walked out [Content edited by nbW]. Flyer and Martin were distracted a moment, but Flyer snapped out of it and connected with the Locomotive on Martin for the pinfall. [Content edited by nbW] stood at the rampway clapping as Flyer held the championship above his head.

And that was the end of the show. Not bad. I hope to see those front row tickets soon. I want to attend Full Effect next week!

• House Show #15
October 13th, 2008

It's that time again fans. This is your ever so handsome and loyal host, Trent McKnight. We've got quite a few fan reports from Monday night's house show, but there was one that stood out to us. We try and give each person a chance, and Elizabeth Wheil from Columbus, Ohio is the latest winner of nbW swag, including the Saunders life story dvd, High Flyer's championship t-shirt, and a pair of front row tickets for Full Effect.

Speaking of which, if the rumors are true, HBO has finally given the go ahead to produce the live airing of Full Effect next Monday. This could change, but we've already contacted all our superstars to inform them and be ready for action. Now moving on I will let Elizabeth's report tell you a story.

=

Hi Trent, my two girlfriends and I went to the house show tonight and we had a lot of fun! We got together and decided to give a shot at sending in a report for you. So Trent baby, if you can accept this one and post it, that would be great, and we would be ever so g-r-e-a-t-f-u-l. *smooch* We've also included a few pictures from our hotel after the show. Enjoy babe.

The night kicked off with that bastard Xander Napoli on the nbW Tron. He declared that we weren't worth his time to come out personally, and then went on to make a series of matches for tonight. He announced that High Flyer would be defending his championship against Michael O'Dell tonight. O'Dell requested the match to show that he was the chosen one, not Cage or Flyer; only The Executioner.

Napoli then announced that Saunders would be facing Cage one on one tonight. But… there would be a special guess referee of his choosing for that match. He then started to discuss the tag team championship match, but that 'I' red screen appeared on the nbW Tron. It was accompanied by some odd music and voices speaking of the things gone and the things that remain. After it vanished off the Tron Napoli was upset for being interrupted and yelling off the camera to have someone go find out what that was about. The feed was then cut, finally.

The first match of the night was a declaration of war from the Creede brothers, Ace and Spade. They didn't get the champions however, instead Myth and Legend came out demanding that they get the title shot. Napoli once again appeared on the Tron and told them that they would have a special match tonight to determine who would face the champions this Thursday night. He said there were other teams around as well but they were barred from competition. So what we got was a slugfest of a match between the two teams, where the finish saw the Creede's take out Mark Mercury and nailed their finisher on Mane Miaate for the win. So I guess they get the shot later this week.

Second match was Zatch Rollns with Nemo against Pat Gordon. Nemo was still suffering from the attack last week so this had been made into a one on one match. Obviously the odds were even, but the ninja was faster than Pat could ever dream of being. We saw quite a few high flying maneuvers, which was photo worthy. The finish came when Zatch hit a hurricarana on Pat and went to follow up with his 450 flip, but Mike Gordon intervened and caused him to fall prematurely. This brought Nemo around the ring and a stiff kick to the back of Mike's head, but Pat had already taken advantage and rolled Zatch up for the pin.

Saunders and Flyer were shown backstage talking about their respective matches tonight. The two were joking around about the obvious choices by Napoli. The ref would be Torment or Martin, it really didn't matter. Flyer remarked that he was ready for O'Dell and hoped his 'B' game was ready. That got a chuck from the fans.

The third match was The Son of Malta against Zed. Not really sure what the purpose of this match was, but Zed was dominated in less than three minutes time.

The fourth match was RaVage against Lunatic. I know we all knew who would win, but it didn't stop us from hoping otherwise. Lunatic put on a great showcasing in the ring, but it just wasn't enough to keep up with the strength and agility of Ravage. Lunatic did manage to hit a series of backdrop's and suplexe's on Ravage, and even followed with a splash from the top rope for a two count pinfall. Ravage however eventually ended the match with his spinning Tigerslam straight into a pin, that he calls V for Victory. Much could be said as expected from the former World Champion. You have to give Lunatic credit though; he tried, and at one point almost got the upset.

The double main event kicked off with the arrival of High Flyer and then The Executioner. Those two started the match off with a bit of chain wrestling before O'Dell used his superior submissions skills to drop Flyer with a arm vice, and then a floatover pin attempt. The match was all about keeping Flyer grounded and in the ring. I think I could count the amount of actual power moves used in the whole match on one hand.

These two were not strangers to one another having competed in previous federations. I should know, I have everything about High Flyer memorized. Even a 6 foot wall scroll of him over my bed. So even if my boyfriend is making love to me, I can see Flyer's face and picture him between my legs. Er sorry about that Trent, woman's mind and all, sort of got side tracked. But at least it wasn't like O'Dell when Flyer kicked him square in the jaw.

High Flyer took a reverse suplex and slipped out to hit the Locomotive, but he was still woozy from the assault before. By the time he covered O'Dell, the challenger was able to kick out. O'Dell ducked a second Locomotive attempt and caught Flyer by the extended leg and around his waist with a huge suplex. Just after he hit the mat O'dell released the hold and yanked down on Flyer's ankle with a serious ankle lock hold, while applying the pressure by torque'n the leg.

I think this is where Flyer should have tapped out. But he's a fighting champion and managed to crawl to the ropes. O'Dell still yanked him back to the center of the ring and relocked the hold on, but this time it wasn't a tight grip and Flyer kicked free and hit a quick DDT. With the energy he had left he charged at The Executioner and nailed a third Locomotive, this time connecting and got the pinfall victory. He was still champion.

The last match of the night, the second of the double main event, kicked off with the arrival of Cameron Cage, with Andrew Martin and Torment at his side. 'Spike-it-up' was playing as the giant rushed out and blindsided Torment from behind. HE tossed the masked monster off the stage, and speared Martin off the other side off the ramp. Cage made a sprint towards the ring with the giant following him. The boss's music soon hit as well as Napoli came walking down with a referee t-shirt on. Not quite a good situation. Can he even ref?

Why even ask. With Cage and Saunders both in the ring the bell run and the match started. Spike slammed a foot down on Cage's chest for the quick win, but Napoli refused to count it claiming he still had his shoulders up. Trust me, those shoulders were flat to the mat. Spike smiled and reached out to grab Napoli by the collar, lifting him up off the ground. 'Playing the nice guy, can… get tiring' was his words before dropping him back down and picking Cage up.

Saunders went for an early pin again but it was stopped. He even hit a spinebuster on Cage and locked on a chokehold but napoli demanded it be released or he would be DQ'd. Martin and Torment entered the ring but were stopped with Torment being knocked off the apron and Martin's chair being tossed away. Spike eventually hit a double spear on the Napoli and Martin before turning he attention back to Cage.

Cage was lifted up into the air and tossed up on his shoulders. We all screamed it out loud. SPIKED! Cage's body connected with the canvas and Saunders's dropped his bodyweight down on his chest. Napoli was out, so there was no referee around. However salvation came as Tony Davis and Flyer rushed down to the ring; Davis wearing the black and white. He had been fired at one time but Napoli granted him a spot on the lowest platform as a referee, and it looked like that was a mistake. Davis slid in and counted the pin but Torment kicked him out of the ring.

Spike and Torment fought briefly until Flyer leaped off the turnbuckle and dropkicked him over the ropes. Saunders then grabbed Napoli and lifted him up to his feet. 'Start counting, boss' were his words as he Chokeslamed Napoli to hell where he belonged. But both referees' were out now. Flyer whispers something in Spike's ear and then he covered Cage again, while Flyer dragged Napoli over and used his arm to hit the mat three times. The bell rung and Saunders, Flyer and the recovering Davis held their arms high in the ring over the bodies of Cage and Napoli.

As everyone cleared the ring the 'I' video showed on the tron again and out walked [content edited by nbW]. Not sure what this is all about, but I hope you'll have an answer for us on Full Effect. I was really surprised to see [content edited by nbW] and can see why you keep editing our fan reports.

Greeting ladies and alcoholics, Trent McKnight here with you once again for another recap of nbW's house show. Sorry we're a tad late on this one, we had an overwhelming number of entries to sort through this time, it seems quite a few of our fans enjoyed the show. The lucky pick this go around is Rachel Johns who actually caught our show while up here on vacation and outside of her home state, Wyoming. So, without further ado, onto the recap.

"Hey, I just thought I'd send in a recap of the show. This was actually my first live in-person wrestling show and I was pretty excited. Normally I can only watch this stuff on television because I'm stuck out in bum-fck Wyoming and the only live wrestling we see up there is drunks fighting over the last beer.

Anyway, the show was a lot of fun and the crowd was really hot tonight. We started off with Spike coming out, he looks pissed. He cut a promo about his match against Andrew Martin and Cameron Cage tonight and says he's not worried about anything, and with the mood he's in, Cage and Martin had better make sure they have their final will and testaments ready. Napoli interrupts and comes out to a bunch of booing and says Spike shouldn't be so cocky, and that everyone should remember the last time he was in a handicap match. He adds that this match, is also a no DQ.

We then saw some replay footage of Spike getting the shit kicked out of him by Martin, Kahn and Torment. Footage ends and Spike gets up in Napoli's face, grabs him by the shirt collar and tells him to watch himself. He's through being Mr. Nice Guy.

First match of the night is the Son of Malta against Simon Starks. Short match, with Malta displaying more of his in ring ability, and picking up a win. Good way to get momentum going again after his last house show loss.

Second match came right after the first, with Nemo and Zatch defeating Myth and Legend. Lots of back and forth and some pretty cool high-flying moves by the two ninjas, finish came after Zatch knocked Myth out of the ring and then nailed him with a tope con hilo leaving Nemo to hit the Tornado N on Legend for the pinfall. After the match the two were blindsided by the Creede Brothers who got on the mic and warned D-T that they were coming for the tag titles, watch your back.

Promo screen with the "I" again. After reading several "content editted by nbW" recaps its really cool at the end of the show to finally see what the hell they're talking about.

Third match is Torment picking up a win against Tony Davis. Davis just got massacred in this match. He seemed really off his game tonight though, I wonder if it had anything to do with his recent altercations against Troy or Ravage. Anyway, Torment hit his crucifix powerbomb for the win.

High Flyer comes out and addresses the crowd, and says he's sick and tired of the power games Napoli is playing. nbW would be far better off being run by a rhesus monkey thank by Napoli. Hell, ANYONE could run Full Effect better than Napoli. Cue Napoli coming out again, this time he's got the Executioner and Kahn with him. It looks like he's got them in case Spike comes after him again, I think. But Napoli says High Flyer has no idea what he's talking about and he'd better be damned thankful that anyone cares to run Full Effect, what with the pathetic excuse for a champion it has.

High Flyer starts to go after him but backs up as Kahn and the Executioner step in front of him. He's going to pick his battles this time. Napoli says he has a suprise for him. He's got a match tonight. And it's right now. Against his bestest buddy Sam Potright. And it's a special stipulation match. Not only does the winner get the championship belt, but the loser has to leave Full Effect. Crowd erupts in boos as the three walk back and High Flyer is fuming.

Next match is just phenomenal. Potright and Flyer aren't happy at all about what they have to do, but neither wants to lose their job. Both of them are throwing out everything they have against each other. Geez, y'all ought to re-air this match as part of your end of the year special. Finish comes after Kahn runs to the ring and hops up on the apron. Potright just nailed Flyer with a wicked looking arrow suplex when Kahn distracts the ref.

By the time the ref gets back to counting the pin, Flyer manages to kick out just in time. Potright turns to yell at Kahn and gives Flyer time to get to his feet and as Potright turns around, nails his finisher for the three count. I don't think Flyer knew that Kahn distracted the ref, though. So now Flyer is pissed off and stomping around the ring and cursing Napoli and Potright is on his knees with his hands in his hair shaking his head.

This blows. Major, major chunks.

High Flyer wins and retains his belt, Sam Potright has to leave Full Effect.

We see Spike backstage and he is pissed about what he just watched. He's storming his way to the ring.

Another "I" screen.

Main event is Spike Saunders against Andrew Martin and Cameron Cage. Man, someone ought to take some advice about letting sleeping giants in peace. Spike was just AWESOME tonight. He put Cage through a table, TWICE and just wailed on Martin with a chair. I don't think this was what Napoli was expect. Both of these men are down in the ring, and Torment charges out.

Spike nails him with a kendo stick right on the mask! And then Torment gets Spike'd through a table. Spike isn't finished and picks Martin up. Then he grabs Cage. He tosses them into a corner, sets up another table and lays Cage out on it first. The he grabs Martin and Spike'd through Cage and the table! He pins them both for the win and grabs the chair and tosses it at Torment still laying in the ruins of his own table. He grabs a mic and shouts out that Napoli's days are numbered.

We think the show is done and out comes [content editted by nbW]

• House Show #13
October 6th, 2008

What a night it was last night folks. This is Trent McKnight reporting to you once again with the latest fan submitted House Show report. This time it comes from Allan Mars, who of course has one some nbW swag, including the new High Flyer T-Shirt, the Spike Saunders's Career DVD, and of course two front row tickets to Full Effect. Here we go.

====

Talk about exciting. I am sure you'll chose my report over the rest. Want to know why? Because you're a god Trent.

The Creede Bros d. The Gordons

So the show opened up with a tag team bout between The Creede Bros and The Gordons. Kind of a yawn fest if you ask me. There was a few good spots, but I think the best moment was when Ace pulled down Pat Gordons's pants and pinned him in the distraction. Haha.

Xander Napoli then comes out to greet us ever so kindly. As he is announcing High Flyer's opponent for the Main Event, Spike Saunders interrupts him. He demands a match with Andrew Martin after last week's events. Napoli laughs it off until the giant grabs him around the neck with one hand to which Napoli reluctantly agrees to the match, but with Cage as Martin's tag partner, however neither are there tonight so it'll be this Thursday night. Saunders smiles and releases the grip mouthing he would have it no other way.

Khan d. Matt Haddon

The second match featured that Mongolian warrior Khan against Matt Haddon. It was over as quick as it begun. Khan of course being victorious.

Sam Potright vs The Executioner

The third match had Sam Potright facing off against The Executioner. It was a back and forth match between two veteran wrestlers. They were very brutal against one another, with stiff punches and hard kicks. There was one spot where the two clotheslined each other knocking them out cold, both trying to get up before the ten count, which they did.

However Potright was up against the ropes when The Executioner charges at him with all his bodyweight causing the two to topple over the ropes to the outside. The match was considered a double countout, and the EMT's had to come out to help the two.

The infamous 'I' screen showed up on the titan tron. The very same one that is now apparently on your website's opener page. I have my suspicions, but we'll leave it at that for now.

Los Canadiens d. Myth and Legend and Son of Malta

The fourth match was a relief. D-T came out with Max Hopper declaring Los Canadiens together for the night while they faced Myth and Legend along with The Son of Malta. This was an entertaining match. The Los Canadiens are a group of friends that have been through it all together and know what to expect.

Needless to say, it was Malta's first match with Myth and Legend. The outcome didn't quite work out well for the challengers, when Max Hopper hit his Classified finisher on Mercury to get the victory for his team. Afterwards the three stood center ring and posed for us to take some nice photos.

Main Event

The Lunatic came out first followed by the champion. Flyer and Looney stared each other down before breaking into a game of pattycake and handshake oddness. Napoli screamed over the nbw tron to start the match, but the two saw no point. Lunatic slid out of the ring and sat down next to the time keeper.

High Flyer d. Torment and Gyle

Xander then yelled for Torment and Gyle, who came rushing down to the ring. It was the typical double team beatdown. The whole time Looney watching from ringside, or playing with the time keeper showing him how he can remove his thumb. Near the end of the match Gyle was sitting on the turnbuckle ready to launch into the air when Lunatic threw the bell mallet at him causing Gyle to fall outside the ring.

Lunatic pulled his chair up and walked over to Gyle, placing the chair down across his chest as he sat down again. This distraction on Torment gave Flyer the chance to get some momentum going and connect with the Locomotive for the win.

Just after the match ended we got the 'I' again on the nbW Tron, this time with a voice over. A change is on the horizon. And that is all that was said. I think there was more, but it was cut out. Afterwards we saw [[CONTENT REMOVED BY NBW]].

• House Show #12
October 2nd, 2008

Guess who's back to host another recap of our houseshows?? It's your hostest with the mostest, wait a minute, hostess? Anyway, Trent McKnight here to give you the latest fan recap of yesterdays nbW houseshow. And let's just cut to the chase. Our recapper is Jack Thompson and as always, he'll be getting some nbW swag and two tickets to FE's debut on HBO. Angelina, call me.

Hey, I was just at your house show last night and thought I'd try to get a pair of tickets by writing this. Let me just say your show sucks epic levels of balls.

Just kidding.

The show was great obviously, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted time writing this recap to try and get tickets. Anyways, here's the observations I had.

Show started strong with Napoli coming out and swearing a blue streak at Potright and High Flyer for interfering with the previous house show's main event, and says that because of that, they teaming together tonight to take on Torment and Kahn. High Flyer comes out and talks some trash and is blindsided by Kahn, who tosses him off the stage entrance and onto the concrete floor below. Xander and Kahn laugh and it looks like Flyer and Potright are going to have a very shitty night.

First match had the Son of Malta defeating someone other than a jobber for once (yes dudes, I keep up with the recaps on your web site.) and managed to pin Mat Walton, Andrew Martin's nephew. Haven't seen Walton wrestle much lately, but I remember he's had some good stuff in nbW. Both guys put on a good show, it was a more substantial win for Malta and a good showing for Walton. Finish had Malta using some pretzel like submission.

Now, I've seen for the past two shows you edit out the reveal of this "I" stuff. So I'm just not going to mention spoilers. But. We had the "I" screen.

Second match was Wosret defeating Lunatic. Fun, comedy match, Wosret may not be evil like Tepemkau, but he's still a bad-ass mutha, and the resulting "punt the Looney" spot was hilarious. Do you guys film the houseshows? Lots of guys would like a clip of that. Wosret finished the match with his powerbomb finisher and there you go.

Backstage now with Potright pacing down the hall, you can tell he's pissed. Spike walks up to him, and his ribs are taped. Man that dude got busted up at the last show. Anyways, he asks how Flyer is and Potright says the idiot is still set on competing in the match, even though the doctor thinks he has a concussion. Spike says he'll have their back as best he can.

Next up is Cameron Cage and Tony Davis ending in a double countout. Both dudes did this insane combo moved that knocked them out of the ring and they were just K friggin' O'd man. Got interesting when Ravage came out and continued to beat the crap out of both guys, with a kendo stick. That dude's demented.

Holy shit man, there were two hot chicks making out in front of me! I'm a little foggy on the tag team backstage bit, understandably, but I know D-T and The Creede Brothers had a face-off backstage and Zatch and Nemo had to break it up.

Back to the matches, Gyle defeated Erick Davies. Short match, burial, end of story. Cuts a promo afterward saying he's got a bullseye on High Flyer's title.

And now we have another "I"

Main Event is here, and High Flyer looks out of it, I get why Potright was worried. They manage to hold their own, but Potright is doing most of the fighting. Flyer looked ready to make a hot tag when Gyle hopped over the railing and pulled him off the ring apron. The Kahn and Torment double-teamed Potright, Torment hitting a crucifix powerbomb for the win. Spike is out to break up the double team on Potright, while Flyer is trying to fend off Gyle. Out comes Andrew Martin, nailing Spike with a chair. The bad guys stand tall and Napoli is out and cackling with glee. We're NOT happy.

But wait! Not giving spoilers, but someone came out that we hadn't seen in a long time and boy did they piss off Napoli and his goons. Dude, there is some huge shit getting ready to happen in nbW!

• House Show #11
September 29th, 2008

Evening everyone, it is Trent McKnight once again here with another fan submitted house show report. We apologize if you would rather have our own take on the shows, but the corporate powers that be believe it is better to have a outside opinion. Perhaps in the future we will include our own thoughts as well, or get another superstar to provide the recap like Cage did not so long ago.

That stated, tonight’s report comes from Calvin Stein. And since his is being posted, he has won some nbW swag, including a pair of front row tickets for the Full Effect 52nd edition. So Calvin, let’s hear it.

=

Hi, my name is Calvin Stein, and I hope you choose my report to post. My sister and I would really love those front row tickets; the nosebleeds are getting beyond annoying.

Lunatic and Mary-Lynn Maeweather d. The Executioner and Mat Walton

So the night started off different that the recent few shows. Instead of Napoli coming out or Flyer arriving, we got the arrival of the other insane one, Lunatic, and Mary-Lynn Maewather. They were set to face Mat Walton and The Executioner. I can’t say I was all that surprised at how badly the two faired against the veteran wrestler, but they did try, and you can’t knock them down for that. The other team was just too well trained and superior.

At one point however, Lunatic really took it to Walton, sending them both flying out of the ring with a body splash. This left Mary-Lynn all alone with O’Dell though, and she became the receiver a triad of german suplex’s that ended with a fisherman’s suplex. That was followed by a pin which Lunatic interrupted after disposing of Walton under the ring. O’Dell attacked Lunatic, and Mary-Lynn took the chance to hit him between the legs and roll him up for a flash pin. Outstanding upset victory for Lunatic and Mary-Lynn Maeweather!

Red again…

The nbW Tron lit up with a red hue, while a letter I faded onto the screen. Not really sure what that is all about, but it was gone a few seconds later.

Ravage d. Tony Davis

It is still hard to believe this guy is the former World Champion. He’s gotten so slim, it’s almost impossible to tell it is still him. But his moves are the same. He slammed Davis around like a rag doll most of the match. When Davis did have some offense, it was returned with a counter. There was one point where Ravage catapulted him into the corner only to slam back into him with a charges clothesline; that was brutal. The finish came when he hit his spinning tigerslam pinning combination, V for Victory.

Preparing

The nbW tron lit up again and this time showed the backstage where Saunders was sitting in the locker room. Potright and Flyer walked in and told him that they had his back like he has in the past and they would be out there with him tonight. Afterwards the two left the room and shut the door behind them to let him have some peace.

After they turned the corner they were attacked by Khan and Torment, and tossed into a room. The door was slammed shut locking them in. Khan then showed his immense strength and lifted a vending machine up off the ground across the hall and carried over to the door sitting it back down in front of it. He then did the same with a second pop machine. Torment laughed as the two looked at the location of the door, which could no longer be seen. This really isn’t a good thing for Saunders tonight.

D-T d. Gordon Brothers

Great match with the tag team champions. Showtime and Proteus continue to show us why they are the best. The Gordon’s did okay but they just did not have what it took to take down the champions even in this non title match.

After it was over and D-T had left the ring, the Creede Bro’s attacked the Gordon’s. Ace Creede took a microphone from the ring announcer and told us that they would be the next champions, and guys like the Gordon’s would fall until there was only them.

The Son of Malta d. Cage

Now this was a surprise. The Son of Malta made an open challenge to the locker room and Gyle walked out. He claimed that he could take him on and would beat him down. But he wasn’t out there to accept the challenge, instead he called out Cameron Cage. Cage wrestled Malta for a good ten minutes, with the two trading blows throughout the contest. I wasn’t sure who to root for.

The finish came when Gyle got on the apron which alerted the ref and Cage, allowing Malta to nail Cage with a ¾ neckbreaker. After he made the pin, Gyle stepped into the ring to help Cage up. And then dropped him with a reverse DDT before locking in his submission hold, that Cruciffixiation.

Thirst.

The nbW tron once again showed the backstage area. Spike Saunders had just pulled a water bottle out of the vending machine in front of him. He unscrewed the cap and drank every drop out of the bottle. He tossed the bottle in the trash and stretched his neck muscles and arm joints. He was up next. Poor guy though, never even realized his friends were in front of him behind those machines, inside that locked room.

Khan, Torment, and Andrew Martin d. Spike Saunders

This match had been announced by Napoli last week. And Saunders was at a serious disadvantage. Before the bell even rung he was eyeing the ring area unsure why Flyer and Potright weren’t out there. Torment and Saunders started it off with a series of punches, each trying to see who would fall first.

Torment ended up getting his jaw jacked and tossed out of the ring. This allowed Khan to enter the ring and he charged into Saunders’s side and gripped at his waist, lifting him high off the mat and dropping him back down on his head. It was completely unfair for Spike. The three men beat on him in the ring until Martin signaled it was over and had Khan lift him up in a bearhug. Or in his case a Gorilla hug.

Our focus went from the match to the nbW Tron where Napoli stood with some employees in a puddle of dark water. The camera’s panned out ot show collapsed vending machines with pop cans broken all over the place. The door behind the machines was busted open from the inside.

Back in the ring the referee had signaled the bell due to Saunders’s being unconscious. Khan powerslammed him to the mat and Martin quickly slid out of the ring to grab a chair. He had it around the giant’s neck but before he could do anything else he was met with the forearm of Sam Potright. Torment turned his attention to Potright but got a Yakuza kick causing him to fall out of the ring.

Flyer and Potright rushed at Khan and hooked his arms with their own for a double suplex, however Khan powered out and caused the two to go sailing over the ropes. He lifted his fist in the air and roared like a beast of the jungle as his right foot ground into Saunders’s chest. He then exited the ring, with his job finished for the time being.

The referee called for assistance and immediately a group of EMTs rushed down to the ring to check on the injured. Potright and Flyer were alright, but Saunders was still out cold and had to be rolled backstage on a gurney.

Red with Envy

For the lst time of the night the tron lit up again with that red background and letter I. This time however a voice was speaking. Wait a second, I know that voice. It was [[CONTENT EDITED BY NBW]]! Now it all makes sense!

=

Sorry about the fans, but something’s are best left undisclosed. Don’t worry though, it’ll all be revealed soon enough. Until next time, this is Trent McKnight.

Trent McKnight back with all the nbW faithful for another recap of nbW’s ever exciting house shows. As we’ve mentioned, in anticipation of Full Effect’s return to the HBO lineup, in addition to another project going on that you’ll all find out about soon enough, nbW has stepped up the house show schedule from one show to two shows a week.

Our reviewer this week is Tom Chisel and as with everyone who sends in a recap and is selected, Tom will be getting an nbW prize package, including tickets to our first live show on HBO. So without futher ado, here’s Tom’s recap. And one more thing. Jenna Jameson, I’m still waiting to hear from you!

==

“Hey, I thought I’d send in a review of the show, I just attended the house show yesterday. There was quite a bit going on, so I’ll just start from the beginning and work my way up.

And so it starts again...

High Flyer was out first and cut a promo on Gyle, the guy who won the triple threat match at the last house show to face High Flyer tonight in the main event. About halfway through his promo, Gyle came out with a mic too and they had a battle of words and looked like they might start the match right there.

But Napoli came out and broke it up. Then he said the main event was a special match, Gyle could pick anyone on the nbW roster to have as a lumberjack. Of course this gained Napoli of lot of heat, and Gyle was pretty happy. High Flyer just stared in disbelief before he stormed to the back.

Khan d. Matt Haddon

First match was this giant Kahn guy. They sent him out against Matt Haddon and Kahn just totally squashed him. The match served it’s purpose and showed how dominant Kahn was.

Red with an I

After that we had the red screen with an “I” on it like the reviewer mentioned last time too. I’m not sure what it is, honestly.

Cameron Cage d. Tony Davis

Second match had Cameron Cage defeating Tony Davis after Ravage interfered. Pretty good match and it’s carrying over from some heat between the two that I’d read about a few shows ago. Lots of back and forth, Tony and Cameron put on a good match.

Torment d. Sam Potright

Third match had Torment defeating Sam Potright. I guess Wosret decided not to interfere this time. Brutal match, I thought for a while Potright was going to win, but Torment ducked a running turnbuckle smash and it was all over after that. Torment just hammered him and nailed him with a crucifix powerbomb for the win. After that he brought out a table and for good measure, powerbombed Potright through it. Someone must’ve pissed in his Wheaties that morning.

D-T d Creede Bros.

Fourth match of the night was D-T against The Creede Brothers for the Dynasty Tag Titles. The Creede Brothers are just getting really nasty. Lots of eye poking and choking in this match. D-T managed to squeak out a win with Proteus getting a flash pin when both of the brothers weren’t paying attention and gloating in front of the fans.

After match beatdown on D-T with Myth and Legend joining in. Zatch and Nemo ran in for the save to break it up. Looks like D-T has stiff competition in the tag ranks.

Pile it on

Promo time and Spike is out. Cuts a promo on Napoli’s BS and says Napoli has another thing coming if he thinks he can just run over all of nbW’s talent. Napoli then came out and said that yes, he could run over nbW’s talent and that next house show, Spike has his own special match. Triple handicap match, Spike v. Torment, Kahn and Andrew Martin. The crowd and Spike weren’t happy about that.

Son of Malta d. Erick Davies

Fifth match of the night, the Son of Malta defeated Erick Davies. I think Malta is pretty new too, but it was a good match to showcase his in ring abilities.

Still Red

Another red screen with an “I” on it. Now I’m getting intrigued.

High Flyer d. Gyle

Now we’re at the main event. Gyle is out and no sign of his lumberjack. High Flyer comes out next and the match looks to start. Then we found out who Gyle’s pick was. Torment’s music hit and we were all pissed. High Flyer held his own up to a point, but the numbers game got to him after a while. Gyle would pound him down and knock him out of the ring, and then Torment would through him against the railing or ram him into the apron. Torment also hit him with a really painful looking crucifix powerbomb to the outside.

Honestly we thought we were going to see a title change tonight, but High Flyer managed to hang in there. Finish came when Gyle was holding him up outside the ring and Torment went to hit a running lariat. He ducked and Gyle took the blow instead. He rolled Gyle back in the ring and hit his finisher for the win. After the match though, Torment was right behind him and started to just beat the shit out of him. Cue the save from Spike, who just cleared house and helped High Flyer back up.

Not over yet

I thought the show was done but holy shit!!!! You’d never believe what happened next. That “I” came back on the screen and then out came... [[CONTENT EDITED BY nbW]] '

“And welcome back folks! Sorry to cut you off but we don’t want to give too much away. You want to know what Tommy boy saw? Tune into the first episode of Full Effect back on HBO and find out. I gaurantee you, it’s totally worth it.”

September 22nd, 2008

Hello internet fans once more, it is I, Trent McKnight, here with the recap from last night’s House show. Many of our fans sent in their own recap, and we have chosen one to highlight today. As always the writer of this submission will be getting some nbW swag, and a pair of front row tickets to our next Full Effect tapings, soon as HBO gives us the go ahead.

With that said I give you Charlie Cash.

==

I hope you guys get this. My name is Charlie Cash, and I just got back from attending the house show with my two friends. I don’t know if you saw us, but we were the hair dyed white screaming fans in the second balcony. We had a large banner telling ol’ Napoli where he belonged.

Main Event announced

So the night started off as usual with Xander Napoli coming out and heckling us fans. He announces that Flyer will not compete in front of us. You should have heard the boo’s across the arena. He then went on to announce tonight’s Main Event as a Fatal Fourway. The winner will go on to face High Flyer for the championship this Thursday night. This way, he’ll know that whomever wins tonight will be able to take on Flyer.

This alerted High Flyer whom came out and cut one of the most amusing promo’s I’ve heard in a long time from him. I believe at one time even Napoli’s face had turned red. IT could have been embarrassment, or more likely anger. Flyer demands a match for tonight but Napoli declines and walks away leaving the champion flustered.

Lunatic defeated Mat Walton with a backslide pin.

Yeah you read it correctly. Walton had the match completely in his control, but Lunatic took a cup of beer from a front row fan and tossed it in Walton’s face while the referee wasn’t looking. Lunatic then slid in the ring and got a quick victory. An upset indeed.

Providing the Opportunity

We’re giving a shot on the nbW Tron where D-T are smiling to the cameras. They consider their competition and think one team deserves a shot tonight. Proteus ask’s if it’s the Gordon Brothers, to which they both laugh. We do as well. Showtime then states that they’ll defend later tonight against the two ninjas, Nemo and Zatch Rolllins. That’ll be great!

Sam Potright defeated Torment by pinfall.

Prior to the match it was announced as a no disqualification contest. The stench of a setup was in the air. But even with The Executioner down there to help out Torment, Potright still stood his ground. It wasn’t until O’Dell plopped him with a chair to the backside, that things looked grim. Potright was lifted in the air and chokeslammed to the ring. Torment had gone for the cover when he was clocked from back with a vicious boot to the head.

I don’t think a lot of people in the building knew who it was, but my friends and I did. We were there in Vegas when Torment tossed that man off of the roof. It was Wosret, the former other half of Torment. He went to town on Tepekamau and when O’Dell tried to interfere he tossed him over the ropes like a ragdoll. Once Potright stirred back up to his feet, Wosret tossed Torment his direction and watched as he was caught with a DDT and then pinned.

Khan defeated RaVage by pinfall.

I really don’t know how to describe this guy. Just before the match started he spoke on the microphone about being Mongolian and here to destroy all weaker entities. The former world champion tried to keep up with this guys strength, but at around six foot eight or nine, that guy was built like a tank. An immovable tank.

The finish came in less than two minutes when RaVage was grabbed in a bear hug, which was chained with a suplex causing RaVage’s skull to hit the mat with no protection. That guy had no remorse, even after the pin was counted, he refused to release the waist lock. It took a handful of referee’s and security to detach him. This Khan guy… he means business.

D-T versus Zatch Rollins and Nemo was deemed no contest.

We had hopes this would be a great match. But it was not to be so. From the start Napoli walked out and sent down the Creede Brothers and Myth and Legend. The four teams fought each other, yet the bell never rung to signal the match start. Spade Creede hit a Joker SnapDDT on Proteus, while Showtime gave Mark Mercury the Standing Ovation.

With Ace Creede on the ropes, Nemo went for a missile dropkick, but missed and fell outside the ring which allowed Zatch to be double teamed by Myth and Legend who sandwiched him with two steel chairs. Proteus and Showtime went to the aid of the fallen ninja but they too met face to chair. With Napoli clapping at the top of the entry aisle, it was clear that this match would not be happening. It sucks, because that makes both championships being out of action tonight. Damn Napoli.

It’s coming…

After the match had ended the nbW tron lit up again. This time it had a odd looking letter ‘I’. There was no voices. No pictures. Just the ‘I’ in a reddish font. No Idea who that is for.

Fatal Fourway Gyle ‘The Messiah’ defeated Cage, Spike Saunders, and Andrew Martin.

Gyle came out first followed by Cage and Martin. Then the music of The Executioner played, but instead of Michael O’dell walking out, it was the seven foot three giant Spike Saunders. He slipped his shades off his forehead and announced O’dell had a unfortunate accident backstage, and that he was now the fourth contender tonight. This obviously threw off Napoli’s plans, but the bell rung and that meant it was officially set.

The match had started off with all three going after Saunders, but he used his strength to power out of the triple team attempt. Martin was the first sent flying over the ropes, and Gyle followed. This left Cage with the colossus. We were all cheering as he slammed him into the corner and gave a ten punch with a ‘shhhhh’ chop to the chest. You should have heard that chop! I know Cage did. But while Cage was taking up the giant’s attention, Martin had the referee distracted and Gyle slid into the ring with a steel chair. CRACK.

Any momentum was gone. Gyle tossed Saunders off of Cage in the corner and rushed with a extended knee, knocking the wind out of him. He then hit a doublearm ddt on Spike. Andrew interrupted a attempted pin cover to which he and Gyle argued who was able to do so. Gyle then whipped Martin into the ropes and launched him back out of the ring. Saunders then sat up and yanked Gyle to the mat by the ankle.

Saunders worked on keeping Gyle grounded with him for a few moments before ascending to his feet. He hefted the self proclaimed messiah over his shoulders and signaled to us it was over. Spiked! But Cage had other plans, catching him on the back of the knee with rapid kicks. His caused Gyle to drop back to his feet. He grabbed Cage and kneed him in the stomach before giving him a fisherman suplex.

With no pin follow-up Gyle laid a knee into the backside of Cage and then wrenched his arms within his own as he twisted and contorted Cage in that submission of his. I believe it’s called the Crucifixition. The referee did the mandatory checking but Cage was out of it. And Gyle had won the right to face High Flyer later this week.

Gyle released the hold and kicked Cage in the ribs till he was rolled out of the ring. He then applied the same hold on the giant while the referee tried to get him to stop. Andrew finally slipped back into the ring wielding the chair. Violent Pornography played over the PA system as the World Champion made a dash to the ring.

He slid under the ropes, ducked a chair swing from Martin and followed up with a Locomotive. He then went after Gyle whom decided to abandon ship and made his exit. Gyle stood up at the entrance ramp staring to the ring at High Flyer as he helped the giant back up to his feet. Those two would face each other soon, that was guaranteed.

Biggest Pop of the night:
High Flyer
D-T
Spike Saunders

Biggest Heat:
Gyle the Messiah
Torment and Cage
Creede Brothers

• House Show #8
September 18th, 2008

Trent McKnight here, nbW ran its second house show this week and we already have a fan review of the show back in. The brass in nbW have started running bi-weekly house shows to gear up for Full Effect's return to the HBO line-up. As usual, leave your comments, we'd love to hear from you. Unless you're Halle Berry. Then just leave a comment for me.

==

Hey, I just got back from the house show and I was pretty impressed overall.

My boyfriend dragged me along to see the show with him since he beer buddy bailed out to go to some dart league tournament. I haven't been into wrestling for a year or so, but it was a great show to come back to.

Zatch and Nemo def. D-T, The Creede Brothers and Myth and Legend for the Dynasty Tag Titles

The curtain opener may have been the best match of the night. It was a four team ladder match for the nbW Tag team titles. Lots of high-flying moves and action and lots of spills. All four teams did a great job working the match though the Creede Brothers really just started heeling it up.

Great ending when Proteus and Nemo were on either side of the ladder and Ace Creede jumped from the turnbuckle and onto the ladder, knocking everyone over. The surprise came when Nemo stood up with the titles. Painful way to win those, but hey, it's for the gold so you have to go for it.

Tepemkau defeated Cameron Cage

The second match was back to a normal ring work style, with I think the bad Torment taking out Cameron Cage. Lot's of technical work which was a nice surprise as Torment looked like a brawler. Ending came after Torment powerbombed Cage for a third time.

Tony Davis v. Ravage ended in double countout

The third match came after another teaser about something new coming in nbW. Apparently there's going to be a major, roster-wide show coming up soon that'll involve it.

Anyways, the third match was Tony Davis taking on Ravage. I personally don't like double countout endings, but it worked, Davis and Ravage brawled to the back where I'm guessing they were broken up by officials. I couldn't quite see it because some jackass jizzed himself over it and spilled his beer on me. My boyfriend said Tony Davis was more of a high flyer, but he held his own pretty well with Ravage when it came to just a straight out brawl. Not sure what started them brawling, but it'd be interesting to see if they feud.

They did another tease about a former nbW star coming back. They didn't give the star's name but apparently this guy goes way back.

Sam Potright d. Michael O'Dell

Hard-hitting match with lots of back and forth action. Ending came after Potright hit some kind of modified Implant DDT. I'll have to visit your web site again to see what everyone's finishers are.

D-T def. Nemo and Zatch, Myth and Legend and the Creede Brothers for the Dynasty Tag Titles.

Here's where the crowd got pissed. Xander Napoli came out and announce that the four teams that opened were going to face off again in a regular one-fall match. Some bullshit about Nemo cheating. IT's bullshit. But the match started. The Creede brothers just honed in on Nemo and Zatch and beat the crap out of them, which probably wasn't as hard since the two ninjitsu wrestlers nearly killed themselves in the ladder match.

But D-T managed to sneak in a win, when Showtime pinned Legend. So D-T won back the tag titles, which I don't mind, but Napoli is full of bullshit. Utter bullshit. D-T and Zatch and Nemo shook hands after the match when D-T threw the Creede Brothers out of the ring. I hope those two teams have a rematch. Don't they have rematch clauses in nbW?

High Flyer def. Spiker Saunders and Andrew Martin to retain the nbW World Heavyweight Title.

Final match was a triple threat between High Flyer, Spike Saunders and Andrew Martin for the World Heavyweight Title. Flyer and Saunders teamed together to beat the shit out of Martin and then started fighting each other. Lots of power moves from Spike and some great high-risk moves from Flyer.

Looked like Saunders was going to win but the two forgot about Martin and he came back and hit his finisher on Saunders. Not sure but it looked like the Nightmare on Helm's Street. I really need to find out what these guys call their finishers. High Flyer came back and hit his finisher on Martin, which I'm pretty sure was a Yakuza Kick. Flyer got the pin on Martin for the win.

Good show overall. Aside from the jackass in front of me. He ruined a $200 shirt!

Biggest pop of the night
1. High-Flyer
2. Spike Saunders
3. Tie between D-T and Zatch and Nemo

Biggest Heat
1. Definitely Xander Napoli
2. Andrew Martin
3. Torment

• House Show #7
September 15th, 2008

Evening everyone in cyberspace, this is Trent McKnight with you once again. We just go through with our latest House Show, and we have received so many submissions from the fans. For now we are only worrying about putting up one recap per show, but in the future this may change. So without further adu.

=

Hi Trent, my name’s William Paige. I just got back from your house show, and wanted to hopefully get my name out there on the web. It would be the first time I have ever gotten my submissions posted. SO I hope you choose this one.

Opener

Not too long after we were seated, the World Champion came out to greet us. He told us he wanted to defend the championship before us all and give us our money’s worth. Of course this prompted ol’ Xander Napoli to come out in his greekish Italian voice, throwing his authority around like always. We figured there would be no such match, but thankfully we were mistaken. Napoli announced a 8 man tournament, and the winner would face High Flyer in the Main Event. Sounds awesome! And it was going to start now.

First match
Max Hopper versus Proteus

The MIB were probably in the arena, because Max Hopper seemed quite on the guard. Then again, his opponent wasn’t someone to look pass; after all he was one half of the tag team champions. It seemed obvious at the start that this was going to be a match of competition between friends and allies. Proteus started things off with a series of suplex’s, but Hopper ended up taking a second suplex and reversing it with a DDT.

The two even fought along side the ring and barricades. Proteus ducked a swinging lariat and caught Hopper with a spinning heel kick, knocking him into the ring posts. Proteus then rolled Hopper back into the ring for the pin but got only a two count. The finish came when Hopper attempted the CLASSIFIED maneuver, but Proteus got a hold of the arm and hit his Switch Press DDT.

Winner and Advancing to Round 2, Proteus.

Second match
Sam Potright vs Gyle the Messiah

We really had high hopes for this match, but Napoli and Gyle made it not so. Before the match even begun, when Potright was walking to the ring, he was attacked by Gyle and the Executioner. Then Slammed into the guardrail and back into the rampway. The Executioner dropped Potright with his Perfect Suplex and the two hurled Sam into the ring steps. Like clockwork he was tossed into the ring and Gyle locked on his submission hold, whatever it is called, giving the referee no choice but to declare him the winner due to Potright being unconscious.

Winner and Advancing to Round 2, Gyle The Messiah.

Third match
Spike Saunders versus Torment

Saunders had come running down to help Sam Potright out, but ended up being blindsided by Torment. This resulted in the three men beating down Saunders, and tossing him face first into the barricade. All three men hurled him into it, busting it in the process. Of course Spike was bleeding from the forehead due to this, and since the match had yet to start officially, there was nothing the referee could do. It was getting pretty clear at this point, what Napoli’s plans were.

However when The Executioner tried to pull Spike up, he was grabbed around the throat and tossed back over the broken barricade. Torment charged at him, and met a boot to the face, which was followed with a shoulder tackle to take down Gyle. Torment was then lifted back up to his feet and rolled into the ring before being put up on the giant’s shoulders. Spiked! At least that is what we had hoped. Instead, that bastard rat child Cage slammed a lead pipe into his back repeatively. The bell rung and the referee announced that Saunders had won by DQ. However, he really seemed to be motionless in the ring.

Winner and Advancing to Round 2, Spike Saunders.

Fourth match
Cage versus Brock Metzer

To be honest, nobody expected him to be out there. But he was, and with Cage already in the ring, Metzer plowed through the cretin and knocked the recovering Torment over the ropes and out of the ring. The referee tended to Saunders as a group of EMT’s came out, and Metzer went over to Cage. Brock pulled him up to his feet and tossed him in the air before dropping him with a thunderous scoopslam. Metzer is of course known for his technical wrestling skills, and he was starting to show those off. He german suplexed Cage into the turnbuckle and followed that up with a top rope suplex. Not even done, he grabbed the kids legs and locked in a figure four lock. This was victory.

Well it should have been but Torment was still ringside, in fact everyone was except the wounded Saunders. With the referee distracted by Torment trying to enter the ring, Gyle slid inside and kicked the back of Metzers skull. Cage used that chance to escape and using the ropes he leapt off dropping both knees into his chest. A pin fall was attempted but Metzer still managed to kick out. Once he was up to his feet he flew at Cage with another shoulder to the gut, and followed that with a fisherman suplex pin.

It was a three count pin, maybe even five, but the referee was distracted by Torment again. This allowed Gyle to slip into the ring, Metzer saw this and released the hold to attack Gyle, but Cage quickly yanked Metzer back by the tights. Torment had stepped back down and the referee slid down to make the pin count. What horror it was to see Cage have his arm raised in victory. He hardly did a thing!

Winner and Advancing to Round 2, Cage.

Change of Order

Napoli came out clapping and told us all that he had decided to make the finals next in a fatal four way. And since Spike Saunders was incapacitated his opponent would take his place. Yep, Torment. Go figure.

Fifth Match
Proteus versus Torment versus Gyle The Messiah versus Cage

Should I even call this match? It was practically three on one. In fact that is what it was. The three men took every open shot they could, never once attacking each other. It was totally unfair. Classic Napoli I guess. Proteus was beaten down to a pulp in the corner and completely out of it, this gave Torment the chance to pin him, but Gyle pulled him away.

Yep seems like those three hadn’t agreed on who would face Flyer. Napoli was visibly upset and walked down to the ring yelling at them to pin him. Cage attempted to, but Torment yanked Cage off. Then a shove later and Cage was tossed into Gyle and Torment attacked them both. Cage slipping out of the ring while Gyle half hung out himself. Torment tried again to pin Proteus, but this time Proteus kicked out.

That angered the masked monster and Proteus was slammed back down to the mat with two palms on his shoulders. Torment went for the cover again but Gyle dove at him with both legs connecting with his side. This angered the beast again; Torment grabbed Gyle around the throat and throttled him with both hands. Proteus finally rose to his feet and used the ropes for speed to attack the two men with a bodysplash, causing them to fall outside the ring. But Cage had rolled back inside to execute a reverse ddt on Proteus. And sadly, the pinfall victory.

Winner and Advancing to Finals, Cage.

Final Match
World Championship
Cage versus High Flyer

Cage stood in the ring waiting his opponent. He was minutes away from being the new champion. That’s when the music hit and the champion made his way out. Everyone cheered as loud as they could. Flyer smiled and cocked his head to the side then to the other, looking at Napoli. He counted his fingers and pointed to himself, obviously stating the unfairness in the numbers. He let out a deep sigh and lowered his head as he started walking to the ring but he stopped halfway and smiled back at Napoli as a familiar song played. Sam Potright walked out followed by the tag champions. Flyer then stepped into the ring and showed us the gold before it was taken away.

Cage had planned on using the numbers to his advantage but he could that wasn’t going to work since he brought the good guys along with him, so he tied up with Flyer in the ring and tried to outwrestle him. Maybe this would have worked if Cage hadn’t gone through two other matches, even though he hardly did anything. The champion had the speed and athletisim, and easily out maneuvered Cage. When Cage tried to suplex Flyer, it was reversed. When he went for a DDT, it was countered. When Cage swung for a lariat, it was ducked and countered with a stiff kick to the ribs. For every offensive maneuver Cage attempted, Flyer came back with a way out of it.

Gyle got up on the apron and the referee tried to get him off but Gyle swung out and smacked Cage on the back before Flyer hit that powerful Yakuza Kick, the Locomotive. Flyer then dropped down for the pin but Gyle attacked him. The referee signaled for the bell but Napoli was stopping that and announced that the rules of that match never changed, he just never made it clear how the final match would go.

It would be a tag match, and the referee clearly saw the legal tag to Gyle moments ago. The referee reluctantly acknowledged that could do nothing to stop the assault on Flyer from Gyle. Even if Flyer wanted to tag somebody in, it wasn’t going to happen. Torment and The Executioner had taken everyone down. Napoli laughed while the match was in his grasp. Gyle released Flyer and walked over to the corner tagging in Cage.

A resounding SMACK echoed across the arena as Napoli’s jaw dropped and Gyle turned around to face the chest of the seven foot three colossus. Spike Saunders grabbed him around the throat and lifted him in the air before choke slamming him to the ground. Napoli shouted at the referee to end the match due to interference but was told it was a legal tag as well. Napoli was livid, he couldn’t believe his carefully thought out plan had backfired in worst way imaginable.

Saunders walked back over to the corner dragging Cage with him by the feet, and tagged Flyer back in. Saunders tossed Cage up on his shoulders and held him up in the air within the Military Press position. He asked Flyer if he was certain this was what he wanted, and High Flyer proved his name as he leapt off the turnbuckle with a Twisting Senton Splash into Cage’s body midair as Spike let him fall. The two fell to the mat and Saunders stood ground while Gyle tried to get back in the ring, giving Flyer the chance to pin his opponent. And like that it was over. Saunders held Flyer’s arm up with the referee.

But it wasn’t over for Napoli. He called for everyone to swoop into the ring and beat down the two annoyances. This only went on for a few minutes before Potright and the others slid in and cleaned house. Napoli tossed his chair at the ring and made his exit. His plan was completely thwarted. We all cheered as everyone rose their hands in victory and thanked us for coming out and seeing them live. Got some great photo’s thanks to that!

Winner and Still Champion, High Flyer!

Overall a great show. Disappointed in the shortness of the tournament matches though. Napoli’s goons shouldn’t have used low handed ways of advancing.

I’ll not even worry about sending in the Top stars of the night. It really should have been quite clear who was cheered and who wasn’t.

Thanks again for posting this if you do Trent. Come back and visit our town anytime!

• House Show #6
September 8th, 2008

Evening all, this is Trent McKnight reporting for last night's house show. We brought the action and charisma, while the fans provided the support and energetic atmosphere. One such fan was kind enough to write in to recap the show.

==

I hope you get this Trent. My name's Carl Lopez, and I attended the show last night. It was great. I really hope to see you guys return to my town again soon. You wasted no time kicking off the action this night.

Up first…

I must say, we were all a bit surprised when the first person to enter the ring was none of than Lunatic. Oh well all loved him, sure. But I don't think his being out there was planned, or at the least, thought out. If so, you may want to rethink your fan base age range. We really aren't big fans on Balloon tricks, fart jokes, and whatever he was doing with that toy light saber. Shadow Boxing? But still, it was worth some laughs.

Zatch Rollins, Nemo and D-T versus Myth and Legend, and The Creede Bros.

Probably the best match I've seen to date. The tandem of the champions and the ninja's worked well together. I don't think these two teams have ever worked in the same ring as one another, but that didn't stop them. On the other hand, the Creeds and their partners, weren't very team-like. Zatch and Nemo held down Ace Creede at one point, allowing Showtime to make a pin attempt on Spade and Mane Miaate, but it was broken up by Mercury.

That however didn't stop Proteus from stepping through a Shuffle Kick attempt from Mark, and with the help of Showtime, laid out the other competitors with some swift kicks. The finish came when all four had taken down the other four and mounted the turnbuckles. This was a Holy Shit moment that had us all standing on our feet. A four Corner Splash. Nearly simultaneous. I am not even sure who got the pin, but the team of Ninja's and champions had won it.

Torment vs Zed

That power ranger villain look-alike returned for a try out match. Unfortunately for him it was against Torment. And without really needing to be said, Torment squashed what was Zed. Might have lasted two full minutes.

The Son of Malta vs Erick Davies

To be honest, we weren't expecting much out of this match. But the two superstars were quite familiar with the ring. Malta took some hard kicks from Erick, and returned the favor with knife edge chops to Malta. Malta even got Erick up in a Powerbomb, but before he could bring him down, he slipped down his back and hit a neck breaker for a short pin count. Erick tried to follow up with a splash off the ropes but got the knees to his gut, and as he rolled in pain Malta rolled him up for the win.

Napoli's Absense

Not that we really cared, but Gyle the Messiah came out to let us know that Napoli was too busy to attend our 'beat down dump', trying to secure some sort of deal. I don't really care. But Gyle then brought out Shawn Jessica Hart whom was ready to challenge High Flyer. And he got…

Sam Potright.

Potright came out, still suffering from the injuries sustained leading up to the pay per view and even during. But he wanted a piece of SJH. The two had a war of words before SJH accepted the challenge with a shot to Sam's jaw.

SJH vs Sam Potright

Potright returned the fist with his own, and then followed it up with a takedown tackle. The two rolled around the ring pummeling at each other, while the referee tried to pull them off and warned the match would be canceled. SJH finally got back to his feet and dropped a knee into his chest. Potright rolled himself out of the ring to recover, but SJH followed him with evil intension in mind.

Gyle walked down to the ring and got up on the apron to converse with the referee. That gave SJH the chance to yank the injured man into the steel steps at ringside before dropkicking him right back into it. The thud made should have been heard by the ref, but he made no intention of checking. I think Napoli paid him off.

SJH pulled Potright back into the ring for a pin attempt, but Sam shot his shoulder up. Gyle then entered the ring to distract the ref again, but this time Sam hit a lowblow on SJH then clotheslined Gyle out of the ring. Potright pulled SJH up and hit his War within a Breath DDT, and followed that up with a successful pinfall. The referee then called the match and held Potrights arm up.

But Gyle was already slipping back into the ring, and this time with a chair in hand. He swung at Sam, but we all cheered as he was hit by the Locomotive. The World Champion had come through the crowd and hopped over the barricade to enter the ring.

With Gyle laid out, Potright and Flyer rose their arms in victory.

It was a great night. I can say we were a bit disappointed in the lacking of a few superstars, such as Spike Saunders and Max Hopper. Even no Xander Napoli was a downer.

Top Heat
Gyle the Messiah, by far.
Shawn Jessica Hart
Son of Malta

Top Ovations
High Flyer, without any doubt his save blew the roof.
Sam Potright
D-T, Zatch and Nemo

• House Show #5
Labor Day, September 1st, 2008

Hey guys, Trent McKnight here again. We just got through with another house show and unfortunately due to Labor Day laziness, there has been no ran reports sent in. So instead, I have pulled over one of our superstars to recap the night for you all.

Mr. Cage, it's all yours now.

==

Buzz off Trent, leave this to me. Not our fault that the fanbase are too busy getting drunk off their redneck asses tonight.

Napoli in the house!

My main man, the boss man came out to greet the peasants. With the fans still booing pathetically, he took the microphone and pressed it to his lips. He talked of how 'It's his show and he has all the power, who would dare think otherwise? That slut from HBO? Hah, she got rammed. That goon whom he took the job over from, he lost his style years ago! Saunders? It has been done once before, and he was demoted for the fiasco. There is nobody.'. *tear* Truer words have never been spoken from such a saint.

Napoli then went on to make some matches for the night. He addressed the locker room and told High Flyer that he was loosening up his noose on the champion, and focusing his attention on the giant, therefore Spike Saunders and two of his partners would tag up against Myself, Andrew Martin, and The Executioner. In addition D-T would not be in action tonight, because Napoli believes the fans get more than enough of their tag team champions.

Nobodies.

This guy that people might remember from over two years ago, came out to the ring for a tryout match. I think his name was Zed? Although he had the physique and look of a superstar, he really failed in comparison to his opponent. Torment decimated this Z wannabe superstar. A chokeslam and powerbomb later it was all over. I think it lasted two whole minutes at the most. Next!

Backstage confusion

Saunders sat alone in the locker room like the deadbeat friendless fool he is. Well until the champion and his retarded crippled friend came in and told him that they would be his tag partners tonight. Boring!

Myth and Legend vs Creede Bros

Those tag team champions Showtime and Proteus came out first to an amazing reaction from the crowd, possibly on par to what I used to get when I respected them. Those fools are so proud of their titles as they took up chairs by the announcers. Following them was the team of Myth and Legend, and then the Creede Bros. Those two teams fought each other like they had their lives on the line. Funny, nobody told me that they were next in line for challenging D-T. Perhaps some rude awakening is needed. Anyhow, the match ended with Ace Creede and Spade Creede tossing Miaate out of the ring so they could double team Mark Mercury and pin him to the approval of the champions at ringside.

Full Effect 52 Preview

The nbW tron lit up again, only this time it wasn't Napoli on the screen. An oddly familiar voice spoke, but I can't figure out whose it is yet. It informed us of a major announcement going down on the show that would impact the whole of no brand Wrestling. I assume Napoli is aware of this, otherwise I can smell security already hunting this person down.

The Son of Malta vs ?

This is a man I could enjoy watching. Malta came out to the ring completely disrespected by the audience. Idiots, they just can't see the masterpiece before them. Malta made an open challenge to anybody in the back. What he got was that former Blitzkrieg champion, Troy Adams. After some brief blah'ing on the microphone by Adams, he got in the ring and started a fight he knew he couldn't win. Or maybe he thought he could. Either way, the match lasted a whole of one minute before steel chairs were brought into play. I guess Troy is still hardcore to the bone. Malta may have been beaten this night, but that was only because he wasn't prepared.

My match… I mean Spike Saunders, High Flyer and Sam Potright vs Cage, Andrew Martin and Executioner.

How realistically perfect is this, three of his former friends, against him and two of his friends? After we were all in the ring and ready, everyone was in for a shocker, well except myself that is. Napoli walked out with Torment and Gyle next to him stating that he never told Saunders he could have a pick of his own tag team partners. Security then came down to escort Flyer and Potright away from the ring.

After the bell rang, I wasted no time and flew across the ring smacking the giant in the back of his skull. His woozy head probably saw the dogs coming to feast as my fist drove in repetition to his head. I didn't want all the fun though and tagged in Andrew martin who rushed over and locked him in a sharpshooter. The hold was broke when Spike reached to the ropes, but the damage to the legs was already showing. He hobbled to his feet and clothesline Martin to the mat, whom crawled over to tag Executioner. A belly to belly suplex was attempted but Saunders blocked it and tossed him into Gyle, knocking him off the ring.

I think we all knew what was coming next, and even allowed it. Spike tagged in Torment, demanding he get in the ring. Which he did, and as Saunders stepped out of the ring, he was chopped in the back, which signaled as a tag, if he had any idea. But Gyle had already recovered and grabbed the giant in a bearhug, before rushing towards the ring posts. I think we all heard something break that moment, either his spine or the post itself. Gyle then rolled him into the ring and Torment grabbed him by the throat before chokeslaming him into the center of the ring. I yelled at Martin and O'Dell to pick him up so I could drive my knee into his jaw, before getting the pin for the win.

Afterwards we all beat the living sh*t out of him. Well that is until his 'friends' came rushing down to make the save. I managed to escape the ring, but Torment had been taken down by D-T, while Martin got Hypothermia from High Flyer, and Potright cracked a crutch across the mask of The Executioner. Even Torment was taken out of the ring by the two ninja's Nemo and Zatch Rollins.

Whatever, they can stand and raise their heroes arms as high as they wish. We may have lost that battle, however… the fight is far from over.

• House Show #4
August 25th, 2008

It is a bit late but one of our loyal fans has just sent in their recap from the House Show that took place last night. Enjoy.

==

Hey Trent, Sam Halsey here. I just got back from the no brand Wrestling house show and wanted to let everyone how it went.

Champion to start things off

The night started off right with High Flyer coming out to welcome the fans. It didn't take long for Xander Napoli to make his presence felt as he showed his use of power and placed Flyer in a cage match for the main event. In addition he announced that D-T would defend their championships tonight against Myth and Legend.

Unknown Presence

The nbW Tron lit up after Napoli left, and showed a grayish background and blood like writing. We really couldn't read what it said. Not sure what that point was. I guess a debut coming?

Torment versus Matt Haddon

I am not sure what nbW is thinking here. We all know that Matt's just a jobber in nbW, but one of the most veteran of the company. Sad really, he used to be fun to watch. Anyway what was obvious happened, Torment squashed Haddon to win.

[Tag Team Championships] D-T versus Myth and Legend

The crowd went nuts for D-T as they held their titles in the air and waited the challengers. It was a great back and forth match up between the two teams. Neither unfamiliar with the other, having run a program in the past. There was one spot in the match where Showtime had Mark Mercury held over the ropes and Proteus jumped off with a guillotine leg drop. Great moment there. The finish came when Miaate was left alone to Proteus while Showtime took care of Mercury outside. Champions retain, as we all had hoped.

Full Effect 52 Preview

The nbW tron lit up again but this time it rolled what looked like a video package from Legacy. We were informed through it that the World Champion's first televised defense would be on Full Effect's 52nd episode, and in addition a huge announcement is set to go down, that will shake the very foundation of no brand Wrestling. Can't wait.

Sam Potright and Spike Saunders vs The Executioner, Cameron Cage, Andrew Martin and Mat Walton

As if there was any doubt, the team of Saunders and Potright had the fans cheering. I wasn't expecting much out of this match, but I was wrong. Not only did Cage show some great potential against the giant and injured Potright, but the Uncle/nephew duo of Martin and Walton did a great job as well. I think the finish came a tad early when Potright appeared to have collapsed in the ring following a vertical suplex on Cage. The Executioner hit the ring and locked on his Perfect Submission, while Walton and Martin held Saunders down outside the ring and Cage wailed at him with a steel chair. Executioner got the win by submission, but afterwards they were all cleared out of the ring by the recovering Saunders and Potright.

[Cage Match] High Flyer versus Gyle the Messiah

Gyle headed out to the ring and was shortly followed by the champion which got the fans riled. Before Flyer even reached the ring he was attacked by Torment, with Napoli at his side. Torment tossed Flyer into the ring post and then held him halfway out side the ring while Napoli ordered the cage to be lowered. Flyer barely slid out of getting his head knocked off. What followed was Gyle's superior upperbody power and conditioning against High flyer's agility and speed. It was a good match up, despite Napoli and Torment standing at ringside.

The match looked grim for Flyer when he was tossed into the cage and Gyle used his body as a spear from the top rope, jousting Flyer into the cage's roof, before falling back into his arms and being slammed to the mat. It probably should have ended there but Flyer miraculously got back up. Gyle went to end it with his Cobra Clutch variation, but Flyer ducked out and out of no where he hit the Hypothermia. The pinfal was counted and the cage was raised.

Unfortunately due to that, Torment slid into the ring and attacked Flyer from behind. The champion was grasped by the throat and slammed again the ring post. It was then that Spike Saunders and Sam Potright rushed down to the ring, but before they could make the save, The Executioner and Cage attacked them from the rampway. Gyle locked on a Figure Four leg lock on Flyer in the middle of the ring and Torment pulled them out under the ropes till flyer was hanging halfway out.

That's when Napoli commanded the cage to be lowered again. We couldn't believe our eyes. Flyer was being squashed by the cage walls. Potright and Saunders had managed to take down their attackers and went to help out Flyer. Potright tried to pulled flyer all the way out of the ring, while Saunders took the cage on his shoulders to try and support the weight off of Flyer's own chest. Potright got attacked by Torment, and almost decapitated by a chair from Napoli, until Troy Adams hopped the barricade and yanked the chair out of the bosses hands. Napoli scuttled back up the rampway and called out his forces, but instead Max Hopper emerged with D-T and a handful of other superstars that rushed down to the ring and ganged up on Torment, Gyle and the others. They then supported the cage with Saunders and Potright, to allow Mary-Lynn to pull Flyer out of the ring.

It was pretty cool seeing everyone out there with the champion like that. Great photo op too. Unfortunately the show ended there but we were told to look forward to Full Effect 52.

Top Heat
1. Xander Napoli without a doubt, but as for a wrestler def. Torment.
2. The Executioner, nobody wanted him to win.
3. Torment

Top Ovations
1. High Flyer by far got the loudest cheers of the night.
2. D-T barely lost to Flyer in the fan appreciation. Everyone loves those guys.
3. Sam Potright and Spike Saunders were equally recived during the match and as well with the save in the Main Event.

• nbW's House Show #3
August 18th, 2008

We have just received an email from one of our fans that attended the nbW Houseshow tonight, and rather than give you our play by play, we will let the fan’s email speak for itself.

=

Hey this is Casey G, I just got back from the nbW Houseshow, Live out of the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. With some 9000 seats, nearly the entire arena was filled. Being that it wasn’t a live event, there was no black tarping of the empty seats. I would say that there were maybe a couple hundred seats left open by the time the show started.

And it started with a bang.

The Champion!

Snow fell from the rafters. I. Kid. You. Not. We were all psyched when the new nbw World Champion walked out and held the title high. He got on the microphone and told us about how he had finally done it and beaten the system that Napoli had put forward. He declared his first title defense would happen tonight, live in Cinci.

Of course then Xander Napoli came out to a chorus of boo’s, and told High Flyer and all of us in the arena, that that would not happen. But since Flyer was so adamant to wrestle tonight, he would be get the chance later. Flyer then left the ring to go prepare.

The Creede Bros versus Myth and Legend versus Zatch and Nemo

One after another the tag teams walked out to the ring with a mixture of response from us. The obvious fan favorites in this was the two ninja’s, which was clear by the cheers they received while doing their backflips from the entrance to the ring. Those guys have talent.

The match started off with Ace Creede facing Mark Mercury, and saw Ace completely ground Mark with a shoulder tackle at the start. After Mark recovered and was charged with another shoulder, he managed to sidestep it and tag in his partner Mane Miaate. Mane and Mark quickly put the doubleteam work on Ace, taking him down with a double suplex, followed by a double leg drop from both sides.

The double teaming lasted for a few moments, and they even let Ace over to make the tag, but a drop kick from Mark sent Spade Creede off the ring apron into the railing. As the two hooked Ace again, he slipped out and made the dive to the closer corner, right into the hands of Zatch Rollins. The ninja leaped onto the top rope and spring boarded into the team of Myth and Legend, he then tossed the non legal man Mark Mercury, out of the ring. Zatch threw Mane into the ropes and jumped over his head, hooking his arm around the neck and bring him down with a reverse jumping ddt.

Zatch was on fire as he bounced back off the ropes and sent the recovering Creede bros off the apron with a wheel kick. It was at this time that the fans really started to cheer as the Dynasty Tag team champions walked out on the stage and appeared to be watching the competition. While Zatch noticed this, Mane made the tag to the only Creede on the apron, the recovering Spade. Spade stepped into the ring and ducked a roundhouse kick, catching the ninja’s leg in his arms before tossing him down to the mat with a awkward looking scoopslam.

Spade Creede dropped down to a knee and locked a sleeper hold on Zatch. Thankfully this didn’t last long before Nemo made the dive off the turnbuckle, with a headbutt to the back of Creede’s skull. Zatch pulled himself back up and flipped forward over the body of Spade and made the tag to Mark Mercury, since Nemo was not outside the ring ropes yet. Mark went to work on Spade with some knee’s to the chest. This lasted less than five seconds before cold steel hit his backside.

The referee called for the bell while Ace went to town on Mark with a chair. Mane Miaate slid back into the ring tackled Ace. Zatch and Nemo stood in their corner and looked at the chaos then to the fans then to the champions on the stage and then back to the ring again. Zatch leapt off the turnbuckle into the grouping of Ace and Mane Miaate, and while Mark picked Spade up he was met with the body of Nemo; the two ninja’s impacting nearly in synch with one another.

Their music cued up as they stood between the bodies and posed for the fans before making a standing backflip out of the ring to the floor. D-T applauded the match and held their titles above their heads before walking backstage, followed shortly by the winners of the match.

It was an incredible tag team match, I got to say.

Torment's true calling

What surprised us next was when Xander Napoli came back out on stage. He congratulated Zatch and Nemo for their win, even though they had already went backstage. He then called for the ring to get cleaned up. ‘My Torniquet’ started to play, and I got to say that song is truly creepy without lyrics. Torment walked out next to Napoli and then down to the ring where the recovering superstars were.

Torment then lifted Ace Creede up by the neck and tossed him like a javelin out of the ring. Spade Creede found himself up in the air in a military press before being tossed out as well. The team of Myth and Legend laughed at the Creede brothers predicament and thanked Torment for the assist. But the monster turned towards them and grasped both of their throats, lifting them off the ground and chokeslaming them down to the ring. He then stepped out and yanked the two by their legs till they were out of the ring as well. Napoli smiling on before he turned and walked back with Torment slowly following.

[Tag Team Championship] D-T versus Max Hopper and Zion Lunatic

Another tag team bout was set to start this time for the championships, but Trent McKnight came out to announce that Hopper’s tag team partner Zion could not attend due to complications in the schedule, but he would be replaced tonight. Enter the Loony one, Lunatic to a huge ovation.

Hopper and Showtime started off the match with a grappling contest, which Hopper managed to win with his power advantage, and suplexed Showtime head over heels. Hopper then went for the quick cover attempt but got a one count. He then locked Showtime in a armbar, torquing it back to see if he could get the win by submission this early on. These two were no strangers to one another, as nearly everyone in the arena knew who Los Canadiens were.

Showtime fought himself out of the hold with his free arm, and hit a neckbreaker on Hopper, enabling him to make the tag to his partner. Proteus entered the ring and picked Hopper back up and started sending out expert martial arts kicks to the midsection and chest of Hopper, before ending it with a step up enziguri kick. With Hopper down, Proteus pulled his arms back while he stood on his backside. Finally Lunatic intervened and got in the ring, he tapped the champion on the shoulders to turn his attention away. Proteus looked right at Lunatic whom smiled at him and blew a raspberry like a child then fled out of the ring to the safety of the announcers.

That moment of distraction however enabled Hopper to shift his weight and break the hold, in which he then whipped Proteus to the ring. Hopper hooked Proteus and hit the Glass Ceiling which he dropped down for a pin cover, which was broken up by Showtime. Outside the ring Lunatic had coaxed, or stolen, a child's drink and poured it down his own pants before taking another, eyeing his tag team partner.

While Showtime went for a lariat, Hopper ducked it and went for his CLASSIFIED finishing maneuver. Lunatic then walked into the ring and handed him the drink. But instead of giving it to him, he poured the contents straight down the front of his trunks. It must have been ice cold considering the contortion on Hoppers face, but that single moment let Showtime slip out and nailed him with the Standing Ovation. A three count later and the champions retained just like at Twilight. After D-T had left the ring Hopper and Lunatic had a talk about who knows what before they left as well.

High Flyer versus ?

We rose to our feet as the World Champion made his way out to the ring. He threw the title above his head with both arms and showed us that he was indeed the champion. We then sat, as did flyer, and waited for his opponent. ‘My Torniquet’ played once again, and that monster Torment walked down to the ring. But as he stepped into the ring for the bell to sound, Flyer rebounded off the far ropes and hit the Locomotive, his Yakuza kick. Torment fell right back outside the ring.

But while Flyer started to celebrate, Napoli walked out on the stage and shook his head. The Executioner made his way down to the ring and stepped up on the apron, while unknown to Flyer, Gyle slid in the ring from behind. Flyer rushed at the Executioner causing him to hop off backwards, but Gyle clubbed the champion across the back of his shoulders. He slammed his two fist into his backside causing the champion to fall to the mat. Gyle then locked on the Crucifixication submission hold.

But while it looked bleak, we got reason to cheer as the seven foot three giant walked out on the stage and rushed back Napoli, backhanding him a few feet from where he stood. Spike ducked The Executioners clothesline rush, and met him with a fist to the face before sliding into the ring and literally tossing Gyle off of High Flyer into the far ring ropes. Spike then helped the champion to his feet.

High Flyer and Spike Saunders vs ?

Napoli stood back up and dusted off his suit and announced a change to the planned match. It was now High Flyer and Spike Saunders teaming against their challengers. He never really named who they were. But Saunders and Flyer made quick work of what remained of Gyle, and even The Executioner. Napoli wasn’t done though and sent the man that turned on Saunders at Twilight, Cameron Cage, along with his partner in crime Andrew Martin. The two hit the ring with chairs in hands and swung at the champion and giant, but both managed to avoid the shots. Saunders grabbed Martin by the throat and slammed him to the mat with a Chokeslam, while at the same moment High Flyer his Cage with Cold Snow.

Still not done Napoli demanded the Creede Brothers to come out. They did, but after what he had Torment do to them earlier, they turned and left telling him to clean up his own mess. Spike and Flyer stood in the center of the ring with the fallen. Saunders called the referee back into the ring and had him count the pinfall for Flyer on Andrew Martin, causing Napoli to storm back to his office.

As the two celebrated and soaked in our appreciation, Trent McKnight came back out and thanked us for attending.

Top Heat
1. Xander Napoli, but the top hated wrestler was definitely Gyle for his sneak attack.
2. Lunatic announced as tag partner for Max Hopper met a 50/50 reaction
3. Gyle the Messiah’s cowardly attack on Flyer.

Top Ovations
1. High Flyer and D-T really were on the same level.
2. Lunatic announced as tag partner for Max Hopper met a 50/50 reaction.
3. Saunders for the save

At long last!

Xander Napoli will do anything to keep the World Championship out of the hands of the fan favorite Lunatic High Flyer. Yes anything. This can be proven more now than ever before, thanks to re-scheduling event after event, even the grand pay per view itself.

All this change would wear down High Flyer, making it impossible to keep a physical routine to get ready. But did it work? Only one way to find out, and that is by watching Twilight on Pay Per View. Roll the Preview!
